Obituary for William Arthur Hubbard

William Arthur Hubbard, age 72 of Church Rock, New Mexico, passed away at his home after a long illness on May 26, 2018.

Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2018 in Montrose Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 - 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, at the Donnell - Wiegand Funeral Home in Greenville.

William Arthur, the son of Thomas and Lela (Williams) Laughary, was born April 22, 1946 at the family home in Greenville. William grew up in Greenville and attended the local schools. He loved music, and played electric piano in several bands. William was a truck driver, driving for over 45 years.

William moved to Nevada and played music in 1984. He then traveled to New Mexico, where he met Rita. They were united in marriage.

Surviving is his wife Rita, children: Lori Hubbard of Greenville, Kelly Hubbard of Greenville, Edward Hubbard, Brittany Hubbard, Brigette Hubbard and William Hubbard all of Church Rock, New Mexico.

William is also survived by siblings: Melvin Hubbard of Reno, IL, Elaine Griffith of Pocahontas, IL and Larry Loughary of Smithboro, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Janet Hosick.
